Big Waterhouse Lake
The Big Waterhouse Lake campsite is located on the northern shore of Waterhouse Lake and is small with no facilities – it is mainly used by duck hunters and anglers and not recommended for general camping. The Big Waterhouse Lake campground is accessed via Big Waterhouse Lake Road. Given there are no facilities, all visitors must be self-sufficient which includes bringing food, water, toilet paper, a gas stove and some sites portable toilets. Campfires are permitted, but any local fire restrictions must be strictly followed. Campers must carry their own firewood. Entry to the Big Waterhouse Camping area is via a dirt road which can be corrugated and especially after heavy rain or long periods of no rain. Dogs are OK in the reserve but must be leashed at all times and always kept under control to avoid wandering through native vegetation, or disturbing wildlife and other campers.
