Branxholm Free Camping

The Branxholm Camping Ground, suitable tent camping, caravans, campervans motorhomes and big rigs with non-powered sites only. There is a swimming pool, children’s playground and tennis court. There is an IGA Supermarket immediately across the road and great counter meals from the local hotel that is in close walking distance.The Branxholm Camping Ground is located just a five-minute drive from the Blue Derby MTB Trails at Derby, Branxholm is an ideal base from which to discover the North East of Tasmania. There are some excellent bushwalks in and around Branxholm and this campground Branxholm is close to the Great Briseis Water Race walk; an amazing feat of engineering! Facilities at the Branxholm free campground include free electric barbecue, showers (AUD $2 per use), toilets, laundry, unpowered sites free of charge. The driving time from Launceston to Branxholm is app.one-hour-and-15-minutes or 1-hour from St Helens on the East Coast.
