Description
Free, first-come first-served camping at the boat ramp on the southern end of Lake Burbury, reached via sealed Mount Jukes Road south of Queenstown. No showers or toilets, but a sheltered picnic area and designated fire pots are provided. Lake Burbury sits within the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers World Heritage Area and is popular for fishing and boating; a 4WD is recommended for the gravel boat ramp itself. All campers must be fully self-contained as there are no facilities and no opportunities to camp.
