Dodges Ferry Hotel

Overnight parking for self-contained motorhomes and caravans at the rear of the Dodges Ferry Hotel, south-east of Hobart. No toilets on site – campers should take rubbish with them. Meals are available at the hotel. Dodges Ferry and Lewisham are neighbouring coastal communities in south-east Tasmania, about 35–40 km east of Hobart. Dodges Ferry sits around the entrance to Pittwater and is known for its beaches, boating, fishing and relaxed holiday atmosphere, while nearby Lewisham follows the shoreline of Pitt Water and has a quieter, more rural feel. Both areas have grown from mainly holiday settlements into communities with a mix of permanent residents and holiday homes. Dodges Ferry is a popular stop for visitors to Tasmania travelling from Hobart to Port Arthur.
