Valley Campground Crabtree

The Valley Campground is located south of Hobart in the Huon Valley at Crabtree and offers a peaceful, private camping escape within a short distance of Tasmania’s capital city. Settle into a grassy site framed by native shrubs, fall asleep to the gentle sound of the river, and immerse yourself in a landscape alive with Tasmanian wildlife.

Perfect for self-contained campers, touring cyclists, and families with caravans or tents, Valley Campground is an ideal base for exploring the stunning Huon Valley and surrounds.

The cost is $20 per person per night, powered sites cost an extra $10 per van per night. Children 8 yrs and under are free of charge. (as at 1/1/26)

Firewood is available for $10 for 12 pieces – pets under control are very welcome.
