Visitors can walk a lovely walking track around the dam on the property that is stocked with plenty of fish – if you are lucky you may even see Platypus, Wombats or Peacocks roaming the area. This campground is ideal for tents on the lovely grassed area, campervans, camper trailers, rooftop tents, and caravans overlooking the dam and walking track. There are even seating spots to relax and enjoy the scenery and wildlife. Visitors can enjoy some fishing in the separate dam to catch dinner or try their luck at target fishing to get in practice or learn how to cast. This private property is a natural timber and grassland property with Tasmanian Devils, Quolls and Wombats living on and around the area, nature at its best, and only 10 minutes from Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre and popular restaurants.
