Rocky Cape Tavern and Caravan Park welcomes casual camping in their well-kept, secure and large private grounds at the rear of the tavern. The campground Rocky Tavern, is suitable for large rigs, campervans, motorhomes, camper-trailers, tent-based camping and dogs are welcome. You can enjoy a meal in the Rocky Cape Tavern, and explore the nearby Rocky Cape National park and surrounding beaches. The Rocky Cape campsite is located at 19375 Bass Highway, Rocky Cape, Tasmania 7321 and close to the Rocky Cape National Park. Un-powered sites are app. AUD$5 per night, and there is a AUS$5 fee per person fee for the use of toilets and showers; powered sites are app. AUD$15 per night plus AUD$5 per person for toilet and showers. There is also a AUD$10 refundable key deposit to use the facilities, which are generally clean and of good condition. To organise a campsite, powered or non-powered site simply enter the tavern which is located immediately off the main road and ask the friendly Tavern staff for help. If camping in a fully self contained campervan, there is no requirement to pay for the use of facilities. There is limited shade at the Rocky Cape camping area, but the area is large, flat and well-grassed and an excellent low cost camping option on the far North-West Coast of Tasmania, especially when visiting the Rocky Cape national Park.
