This possible overnight stop at Wiltshire, near Forest, Smithton and Stanley on the North West Coast of Tasmania is described as a very basic but level gravel location suitable for an overnight stop in fully self-contained vehicles only. There are no facilities at this location (i.e., no toilets, no water, no shelter). This site is not suitable for tent or car abased camping. The abandoned railway line stop near Wiltshire is not a designated campground, but overnight stops in self contained vehicles appear to be tolerated. Please take all your rubbish and leave no mess. Pets are OK if kept on a lead and under control at all times. Maximum stop 24-hours, no charges.
