Gordon Foreshore Campground

The Gordon Foreshore Reserve Camping Area is located at Gordon south of Hobart. The Gordon Camping area features has flushing toilets and a water tank to obtain water (please boil the water first). There is a nice grassy area for you to set up your tent or RV – there is a beach nearby for exploring and fishing. Gordon is a small rural locality in the local government areas of Kingborough and Huon Valley in the Hobart and South-east regions of Tasmania. Gordon is located some 45 kilometres south-west of the town of Kingston and around 65 kilometres south of Hobart. The 2016 census has a population of just under 200 permanent residents for the town of Gordon. This is a great little campground, but it can get muddy after rain so be prepared. Pets are OK if kept under control at all times. There is a dump point at this location, but generators are NOT PERMITTED. The cost if $5 per night per person to camp at the Gordon Foreshore Reserve. Camping in tents is permitted, the area is suitable to all forms of camping including motorhomes, caravans, campervans, camper trailers, rooftop tents and tent camping.
