Bivouac Camp Cape Hauy
Bivouac Bay is a popular tourist attraction and bushwalking destination located on the Tasman Peninsula of Tasmania and close to Port Arthur and the Fortescue Bay Campground. Bivouac Bay is in an area of land in the southeast of Tasmania punctuated by spectacular towering cliffs, beautiful bays and a stunning blue ocean that can be tranquil or very rough depending on weather conditions. To camp here, you must carry all your camping equipment and be fully self-sufficient. The highlight of the Tasman Peninsula is the stunning coastline. The Bivouac Bay walk is one of the 60 Great Short Walks of Tasmania, being some 10 kilometres return or 4 hours at Grade 3. After app. 1-hour of walking, you will reach Canoe Bay which is a popular rest stop to enjoy the views.
