Stumpys Bay Campground 3
Campground Stumpys Bay 3, Mt William National Park Gladstone, Northeast tip of Tassie unpowered campsites, suit big rigs through to tent camping very basic facilities, toilets only. Popular with boating enthusiasts, who are able to launch bot directly from Stumpys Bay Campground number 3 onto the beach. The area is susceptible to very strong winds. All sites are unpowered, and there are no bookings. This campsite is very popular during Christmas, New Year, long weekends and over Easter. The cost to camp at Stumpys Bay Campground 3 are $13 per night ($50 per week) for up to 2 adults, $5 per night ($20 per week) for extra adults, $2.50 per night ($10 per week) for extra children aged 5-17 years (children aged under 5 are free), $16 per night ($70 per week) for a family of 2 adults and up to 3 children. Fees to camp at Stumpys Bay 3 must be paid at the Gladstone Store, or otherwise, all camping at Stumpys Bay must be paid at the information area Stumpys Bay 1 campground. A ranger patrols the area to check that fees have been paid, to check fires and no dogs. A reminder, DOGS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT ALL CAMPSITES MT WILLIAM NATIONAL PARK. In addition to camping fees, you must have a valid Tasmanian National Parks and Wildlife Pass. A single day pass will cost $24 per vehicle (correct as at 1/2/2019); alternatively, you can purchase an 8-week pass that can be used at all Tasmania’s National Parks for AUD$60. Generators are not permitted at Stumpys Bay 2 campground.
